Magnificence And The Blogger
I was not too long ago invited to pop alongside to the Spa on the Midland Resort in Manchester for an categorical therapy throughout my lunch. It’s a handy 7 minute walk (thanks, Google maps) from my work and that i had a couple of events happening at the weekend so I decided to go alongside for a St Tropez spray tan to perk up my pasty pins.
The spa itself is basically pretty, extraordinarily zen and really very stress-free. Sadly as I was on my lunch break I didn’t get as a lot of an opportunity to explore as I’d have favored however the area I hung round it after I’d had my tan was gorgeous with hanging pods to sit down in and a really chilled atmosphere with scorching drinks and cucumber infused water which tasted superb. I can solely think about how fab a spa day can be here!
On to the tan…
I need to say this was most likely the most thorough and careful tan I’ve ever had in about 14 years of getting spray tans performed. High marks to Lara, the beauty therapist who did my tan, who did something that no tanner has ever executed for me before – she applied moisturiser to my elbows, knees and backs of my toes (notorious dry, clingy tan areas for me) before applying the tan in order that it didn’t look darker on those areas. Bravo! I also had sticky toes, paper knickers and a hairnet on to protect the soles of my ft, er…other areas and my hair.
Lara was actually careful in regards to the tan, applying it in a methodical approach before checking over to ensure there have been no streaks or anything which once more is just an extra contact that makes a totally difference. She left me to dry off and get dressed earlier than I headed off to the relaxation room I discussed earlier.
I went for medium as I had to return to work afterwards as well as run a couple of errands in the night that I didn’t wish to be too dark/orange while it developed. I slept in my tan while it developed and I was actually pleased with thick bundles of brazilian hair the colour – it wasn’t too dark, orange or unnatural trying, it simply looked like I’d had a nice week in the solar somewhere which is precisely what I needed. There have been no streaks, patchiness or tan cling anyplace either…yay!
It’s been over a week since I had my tan now and need to say it’s light actually evenly! No patching off or white fingers with tanned arms. Outcome!
I’d undoubtedly have a tan at Midland Spa once more – for a St Tropez spray it’s solely £25 which is kind of a bit cheaper than where I’ve been previously, and the care that was taken with my tan massively outshone other places I’ve been.
