My Hair Is Finally Rising Back!
Hey ladies.. Like alot of cysters, I have dealt with losing the hair on my scalp for a very long time. I’ve always had advantageous hair, however I really seen it began shedding excessively about 7 years ago (when I was 18) around the time I also started dealing with horrible facial hair. I used to be diagnosed with PCOS and then Hypothyroidism.. so I figured that these 2 conditions have been definately the reason for my scalp hair loss. It was the worst on the top of my head and at my hairline and my hair bought thinner and thinner every year. I woud lose huge clumps in the showerand my half turned tremendous large. My hairline was not too long ago receding so badly that I had to cut some “lengthy bangs” to cowl my larger forehead and the bald spots on my temporal space. I have been on Metformin for 3 years and Synthroid for 1.5 years, but my hair continued to get thinner even with treatment of PCOS and Hypothyroidism.
Three months in the past, I had my Vitamin D levels examined.. diagnosed with “Clinical Vitamin D Deficiency”. I began taking mega doses of Vitamin D (100,000iu per week for the final 12 weeks) to replete my levels. I have not been paying much attention to my hair.. but the other day, I observed when my hair was in a pony tail that I had a ton of little 1 inch items around my hairline. My hair regarded sooo unhealthy with all of those little “flyaways” that I had to take a closer look. My temporal bald spots are GONE! Those 1 inch pieces are hair regrowth! There are also a ton more little baby hair growing all over the rest of my head. The previous few days I observed that I’m not losing hair in the shower anymore. My hair seems kind of silly proper now with the entire hair making an attempt to grow back in, but it surely makes me sooooo completely happy!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get your Vitamin D levels checked girls!!! I am really mad that I had to reside with the easy tips for hairstyles hair loss for thus lengthy and the solution was as simple as a vitamin deficiency.
